Description

  • Manage client-facing project teams to deliver engagements on time and on budget.
  • Drive and participate in company-wide strategy and vision discussions.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with top-tier clients through site visits, QBRs, and ongoing account management.
  • Lead and develop specific practice areas by setting roadmaps and plans.
  • Scope engagements and help determine appropriate engagement staffing and fit.
  • Interview practitioner candidates, make engagement determinations, and onboard, train, and mentor new practitioners.
  • Own internal budgeting, scheduling, and resource utilization for engagements.
  • Approve statements of work, budgets, and timesheets.
  • Contribute to practice templates, methodologies, and delivery artifacts.
  • Serve as project lead or second-in-command on engagements as needed.
  • Lead solutioning, scoping, and proposal development to shape and close engagements.
  • Review and elevate client deliverables for clarity, rigor, and executive-level presentation quality.

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with clear ownership of execution, delivery, and client satisfaction.
  • Professional services firm experience at manager level or above, ideally with a tech and/or private equity focus.
  • Strong people management experience.
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and listening skills, especially with clients and prospects.
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and support wherever needed; team-first mindset.
  • Coachable and open to best practices and feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in contemporary technology stacks, development methodologies, enterprise IT solutions, and security protocols.
  • Awareness of disruptive technologies and their potential impact on the future competitive landscape.
  • Experience operating in B2B consulting environments, preferably with private equity-backed companies.
  • Deep experience leading enterprise systems initiatives end to end, including architecture, design, and integrations aligned to business objectives.
  • Proven experience leading large, multi-workstream programs with governance, risk management, and disciplined execution.
  • Experience managing third-party system implementers and vendors while advocating for client priorities and outcomes.
  • Experience leading process design and optimization toward scalable future-state operating models.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and HCM, including design, implementation, and post-go-live optimization.
  • A demonstrated spike of excellence in at least one of the following dimensions: Scope, Sell, or Deliver in technical diligence and value creation.
