Description

  • Work directly with executive clients to architect and develop an enterprise risk management program and process aligned to NIST and FAIR methodologies.
  • Develop a roadmap for maturing the ERM program and aligning it with organizational budgetary decision-making.
  • Roll out ERM process guidance, a clear RACI, and program standards to enterprise stakeholders.
  • Facilitate or support a hierarchy of ERM forums, including the Enterprise Risk Executive Function.
  • Ensure stakeholder compliance with the established ERM program and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the ERM Specialist and oversee day-to-day team activities.
  • Assign, prioritize, and review team work while setting performance objectives and providing coaching and feedback.
  • Manage the analysis, selection, and implementation of an ERM registry tool and report progress to federal counterparts.
  • Institute ERM registry tools and processes across the stakeholder landscape and support adoption with federal partners.
  • Prepare and deliver enterprise risk briefings and reporting to stakeholders and NNSA leadership, and identify opportunities for automation.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Process Management, Enterprise Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in enterprise risk management as a business process.
  • Strong experience managing project and program risks end to end.
  • Experience working directly with clients and senior-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing ERM processes, policies, tools, procedures, and reporting outputs that inform business funding decisions.
  • Fluent in NIST and FAIR risk methodologies and taxonomies.
  • Experience with risk registry tools, including requirements gathering and implementation, preferred.
  • Experience aligning ERM with FinOps and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), preferred.
