Description

  • Lead the pilot review of content-specific instructional materials aligned to college- and career-ready standards and EdReports criteria.
  • Train, calibrate, and support educator-reviewers to produce consistent, evidence-rich reviews.
  • Collaborate across the organization, with the field, and with external partners to refine review tools and processes.
  • Provide expert guidance and coaching to review teams throughout the review process.
  • Engage external stakeholders and publishers to communicate the review process.
  • Serve as a thought leader to explain EdReports tools, processes, and content-specific review results to educators, districts, states, and partner organizations.
  • Partner closely with Product teams, especially the Review Design Innovation Team, to refine and implement the MLL FS tool.
  • Contribute to pilot outcomes and support organizational decisions about whether to maintain the workstream as a core review.
  • Support cross-functional strategic and operational initiatives related to review design and innovation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Passion for EdReports’ mission, vision, core values, and commitment to Diversity, Belonging, Inclusion, and Equity.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in curriculum design, instruction, coaching, research, assessment, or program leadership supporting multilingual learners.
  • Minimum of 5 years of people and/or project management experience.
  • Deep expertise in multilingual learner (MLL) education and foundational literacy skills.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based foundational literacy practices, including language development, early literacy acquisition, and instructional approaches for multilingual learners.
  • Strong understanding of current research, policy, and best practices in multilingual learner education.
  • Ability to analyze complex instructional materials and synthesize evidence into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Google Suite and MS Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • College degree.
  • Residency in and authorization to work in the United States.
  • Experience conducting educational research, tool development, or pilot implementation projects (preferred).
  • Additional expertise in support of special populations (preferred).
  • Experience partnering with state education agencies, districts, curriculum publishers, or national education organizations (preferred).
  • Bilingual or multilingual proficiency (preferred).
  • Master’s degree (preferred).

Benefits

  • Salary range of $102,824 to $139,114 annually.
  • Unlimited Discretionary Time Off (DTO) and sick time.
