Description

  • Work cross-functionally to maintain an effective deal workflow across partners, customers, and business complexity.
  • Advise the sales team on deal structure and strategy, including recommending changes based on field behavior.
  • Manage the deal flow process and coordinate handoffs to finance, legal, and product teams.
  • Serve as the point of contact and subject matter expert for pricing and licensing support to global sales teams.
  • Ensure data quality across closed opportunities, order forms, quotes, contracts, and subscriptions in sales systems.
  • Support contract data flow from quoting through cash collection and reporting.
  • Partner with Sales, Field Operations, and Finance to monitor deals through the sales cycle and approval process.
  • Validate closed deals in a timely manner and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Support go-to-market teams on best-practice deal management and contract structuring.
  • Occasionally work outside standard hours to support a remote-first, multi-time-zone team.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in deal desk, order management, sales enablement, or a similar sales operations role.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical proficiency, with the ability to manage complex deal structures and accurate ARR calculations.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse cross-functional stakeholders and drive consensus to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze, model, and recommend the best course of action for complex pricing, negotiation, and business situations.
  • Experience managing new-customer opportunities involving combinations of order forms, SSA, and SOW agreements.
  • Strong organizational and execution skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence internal customers and partners.
  • Experience using revenue forecasting systems such as Gong, CRM tools such as Salesforce, and CPQ tools such as Salesforce CPQ or DealHub.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a lean team environment and contribute across many areas of operations.
  • Bonus points for knowledge of product development at enterprise tech companies and passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
