Description

  • Develop a business plan to exceed sales goals in partnership with the CEO and cross-functional solution engineers.
  • Engage with Regional Sales Managers on qualified opportunities and collaborate on account, close, and success plans.
  • Build and execute tactics and strategies to grow the Storage & Analysis business.
  • Influence the product roadmap based on customer requirements and market feedback.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through closing.
  • Communicate the value of Storage & Analysis products throughout the sales process.
  • Articulate the product value proposition to technical practitioners and executive stakeholders, including CxOs.
  • Forecast accurately and consistently hit sales targets for the Storage & Analysis product lines.
  • Travel across the U.S. approximately 25% to 35% of the time.
  • Work occasionally outside standard hours across multiple time zones in a remote-first environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise or strategic sales or pre-sales experience in Security (SIEM and Observability) or IT infrastructure.
  • Experience as a direct seller, overlay specialist, or Solutions Engineer transitioning into a closing role.
  • Experience working at an early-stage startup with fewer than 1,000 employees, or a demonstrated entrepreneurial track record.
  • Proven ability to land large upsell, cross-sell, and expansion deals and run complex sales processes.
  • Experience selling through a channel-led motion.
  • Comfort operating without a playbook in greenfield territory and creating demand for unbudgeted, emerging solutions.
  • Background using MEDDIC.
  • Based anywhere in the continental U.S.
  • Willingness to travel 25% to 35% and occasionally work outside standard hours.
