Description

  • Run listening tours and current-state assessments to identify high-leverage AI opportunities across functions.
  • Prioritize workflows where AI can materially improve revenue, efficiency, quality, and operational economics.
  • Take prioritized use cases from idea to working prototype, including internal automations, prompt systems, tools, assistants, and early integrations.
  • Partner with functional owners, the AI Enablement Council, and AI Ambassadors to validate needs and build the evidence base for investment decisions.
  • Build and test solutions using approved tools and established Legal and Security review pathways.
  • Validate outputs, maintain human review, and uphold strong data hygiene and responsible AI practices.
  • Document prototypes, lessons learned, and problem statements so work can be reused and handed off to business owners.
  • Share work through demos, Builder Hours, and showcases, and surface recurring technical needs back to the AI Enablement Council.
  • Set a standard for responsible internal AI building that can be scaled and maintained by workflow owners.

Requirements

  • 4+ years building software, automation, or internal tooling.
  • Experience driving ambiguous, zero-to-one work independently.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor in real work.
  • Experience building on top of LLM APIs, including tool/function calling, agents, prompt and context engineering, RAG, and patterns like MCP.
  • Ability to wire together APIs, automations, and integrations across SaaS systems such as Slack, Google Workspace, GitHub, and Linear.
  • Programming proficiency in at least one language, with strong preference for Go and/or Python.
  • Comfort working with non-technical stakeholders and translating fuzzy needs into shippable prototypes.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote, globally distributed team.
  • Respect for security, legal, and data-handling guardrails and a responsible AI mindset.
  • Experience building agent skills, MCP servers, or orchestration and automation frameworks is preferred.
  • Track record of turning internal workflow ideas into tools that teams actually adopt is preferred.
  • Background in internal consulting, solutions engineering, or forward-deployed/applied roles is preferred.
  • Active involvement in the open-source community is preferred.
  • Interest in software supply chain security, secure SDLC, or responsible AI governance is preferred.
