Description

  • Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks.
  • Write code and unit tests for server-side application features.
  • Develop server applications and RESTful APIs for client applications.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate with the client as needed.
  • Tune code for improved security and performance.
  • Maintain systems by fixing existing issues and bugs.
  • Update issue tracking software and provide status updates.
  • Control versions of code using version control practices.
  • Research new technologies and support skill and knowledge growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of related professional experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft technologies, tools, and platforms.
  • Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
  • Experience with Azure and AWS.
  • Experience writing backend components and RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of security standards and compliances.
  • Experience with relational and schemaless databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience creating database structures for required functionality.
  • Experience writing unit tests and achieving at least 90% test coverage.
  • Knowledge of GitHub, JIRA, and other collaboration tools.
  • Understanding of fundamental concepts and design principles.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies.
  • Flexible attitude and versatile personality.
