Description

Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks.
Write code and unit tests for server-side and client-side features.
Develop RESTful APIs and front-end interfaces for web applications.
Collaborate with team members and communicate status updates to clients.
Tune code for improved security and performance and fix existing system issues.
Maintain version control and update issue-tracking software.
Research new technologies and contribute to technical improvements.
Lead a team of software engineers and mentor junior team members through training and guidance.
Evaluate candidates for open positions and help build team strength.
Continue upgrading skills and knowledge as part of ongoing technical growth.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
Minimum 4 years of related professional experience.
Strong knowledge of core PHP, MVC frameworks, and Yii.
Working experience as a full stack engineer, preferably with VueJS and PHP.
Knowledge of jQuery, JavaScript, and AJAX.
Experience writing backend components and RESTful APIs.
Understanding of security standards and compliances.
Experience with relational and schemaless databases such as MySQL.
Ability to create database structures for required functionality.
Experience writing unit tests and ensuring at least 90% test coverage.
Knowledge of GitHub, JIRA, and other collaboration tools.
