Description

  • Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks.
  • Write code, unit tests, and backend components for server applications and RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate with clients on project progress and needs.
  • Tune code for improved security and performance and ensure functionality matches the design.
  • Maintain systems by fixing existing issues and updating issue tracking software.
  • Provide status updates and control versions of your code.
  • Research new technologies and upgrade your skills and knowledge.
  • Lead a team of software engineers and mentor junior team members through training and guidance.
  • Evaluate candidates for open positions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • 3-7 years of related professional industry experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft technologies, tools, and platforms.
  • Extensive experience with .Net Core, ASP.Net MVC, and Web API.
  • Experience with Azure and AWS is required.
  • Experience building backend components and RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of security standards and compliances.
  • Experience with relational and schemaless databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience writing unit tests and maintaining at least 90% test coverage.
  • Knowledge of GitHub, JIRA, and other collaboration tools.
  • Understanding of fundamental concepts and design principles.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies.
  • Flexible attitude and versatile personality.
  • Strong influence among team members.
