Description

  • Lead a team of software engineers and support their day-to-day work.
  • Mentor team members through ongoing training and guidance.
  • Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks.
  • Write code and unit tests for server-side application components.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate with clients on project progress.
  • Tune code for improved security, performance, and reliability.
  • Maintain systems by fixing existing issues and updating issue tracking software.
  • Provide status updates and manage code version control.
  • Research new technologies and continuously upgrade skills and knowledge.
  • Evaluate candidates for open positions when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • 6–8 years of related professional experience.
  • Extensive experience with Python and the Django framework.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft technologies, tools, and platforms.
  • Knowledge of Azure and AWS.
  • Experience building backend components and RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with relational and schemaless databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience writing unit tests and achieving at least 90% test coverage.
  • Experience with GitHub, JIRA, and other collaboration tools.
  • Understanding of fundamental software concepts and design principles.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies.
  • Flexible attitude and versatile personality.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong influence among team members.
