Description

  • Own the highest-impact customer outcomes each sprint and drive them to production.
  • Build AI-powered capabilities such as OCR, document understanding, generation, agent loops, and evaluation harnesses.
  • Prototype quickly and turn working demos into production-grade software.
  • Work directly with customers to observe real workflows and identify what to fix.
  • Improve codebase quality through reviews, refactors, testability, and observability.
  • Propose, build, and adopt internal tools, engineering standards, and team practices.
  • Collaborate on decisions about what to automate, reimagine, or replace in the product.
  • Raise the bar for the team by pushing skills, agents, and engineering capabilities forward.

Requirements

  • 6+ years building production systems with a track record of shipping complex, customer-facing software.
  • Experience building and shipping at least one substantive AI-driven feature.
  • Strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming, design patterns, testing, web security, and performance.
  • Comfort working with at least one cloud provider in depth: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Ability to communicate tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience using LLMs or agents in real shipped products, not just proof-of-concepts.
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly and start shipping with them within a week.
  • Curiosity about the insurance domain and comfort working in a messy, evolving environment.
