Description

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of insurance enterprise software solutions.
  • Provide technical direction across front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into cohesive solutions.
  • Optimize platform performance for large datasets and high user traffic.
  • Conduct and lead code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs to maintain platform reliability.
  • Design for scalability and flexibility as the platform and user base grow.
  • Ensure web application security and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Mentor and support junior developers in their technical growth.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices to drive innovation.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with experience leading complex SaaS applications.
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Vue, .NET Core, C#, GraphQL, MongoDB, and Docker.
  • Strong background in RESTful API design patterns, including OpenAPI and Swagger specifications.
  • Familiarity with API gateways and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a lead or manager role guiding development teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Experience with unit, integration, and functional testing using front-end and back-end testing libraries.
  • In-depth knowledge of web security best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience optimizing performance for high-traffic web applications.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness to work under Canada timezone (GMT -7 to GMT -4).
