Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions in Zuora using Workflow, Custom Objects, and Custom Fields to automate complex billing scenarios.
  • Build and manage scripts or external applications that use Zuora REST/SOAP APIs to extend platform functionality.
  • Create optimized SQL queries and reports to improve visibility into billing health and revenue metrics.
  • Lead the technical design for new product introductions to ensure catalog structures support billing flexibility and accurate downstream reporting.
  • Serve as the primary technical administrator for Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue, including tenant settings, security configurations, and environment refreshes.
  • Architect complex subscription models such as usage-based pricing, ramp deals, and multi-entity global deployments.
  • Monitor system performance and API limits, identifying and resolving bottlenecks or points of failure.
  • Manage deployment and testing of Zuora configuration changes through sandbox and production environments.
  • Maintain and enhance integrations between Salesforce CPQ, Zuora, and NetSuite, including quote, subscription, invoice, payment, and revenue schedule flows.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures and billing issues by analyzing logs and performing root-cause analysis across the stack.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Zuora Administrator or Developer with deep Zuora Billing expertise.
  • 2+ years of technical experience with Zuora Revenue (RevPro), including configuration of revenue rules and templates.
  • Experience building integrations or automations using Zuora REST/SOAP APIs and Zuora Object Query Language (ZOQL).
  • Experience with Zuora connectors for Salesforce and NetSuite.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Zuora Workflow, Data Query, and Zuora-Salesforce 360 sync.
  • Deep technical understanding of the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle and data flow from Salesforce CPQ to Zuora and NetSuite.
  • Zuora Certified Administrator or Zuora Certified Developer preferred.
  • Experience with Workato preferred.
  • Familiarity with Apex or SuiteScript preferred.
  • Experience with Tesorio as a collections platform is a plus.
  • Understanding of ASC 606 compliance from a technical implementation perspective is a plus.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical design documents and scalable code.
  • Ability to explain API logic and architectural constraints to non-technical stakeholders.
