Description

  • Design, document, and maintain a scalable Change Management Framework for different IT project types and levels of complexity.
  • Define when to lead change management directly versus coach project teams to execute it independently.
  • Create standardized templates, playbooks, toolkits, and intake/triage processes to support change work across projects.
  • Partner with project leadership to assess change scope, organizational impact, stakeholder readiness, and adoption risks.
  • Develop and execute communications plans, executive announcements, FAQs, intranet content, emails, and presentations for varied audiences.
  • Design readiness and enablement programs including training plans, job aids, support resources, workshops, and change champion networks.
  • Coach IT project teams and business leaders on change management best practices and stakeholder engagement.
  • Measure effectiveness through surveys, feedback sessions, adoption metrics, and lessons learned, and refine the framework accordingly.
  • Use AI tools to draft content, analyze feedback, synthesize adoption data, and improve change management outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of dedicated change management experience, with a strong focus on IT and technology transformation projects.
  • Proven experience applying industry-standard change management frameworks across projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both hands-on and in a coaching/advisory capacity, with sound judgment on which approach is needed.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical changes into clear, human-centered content.
  • Expert-level presentation skills for audiences ranging from frontline employees to C-suite executives.
  • Experience building and managing change champion networks.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools such as Agile, Waterfall, Jira, and Smartsheet.
  • Hands-on professional experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Gemini.
  • Ability to write effective AI prompts and use AI to draft communications, training materials, FAQs, presentations, and feedback analysis.
  • Experience using AI-powered analytics or survey tools to identify sentiment trends and patterns in qualitative feedback.
  • Demonstrated interest in evaluating, piloting, and operationalizing emerging AI tools for change management, communications, or learning and development.
  • Comfort with data and experience using AI-assisted reporting to synthesize adoption metrics for leadership.
  • Experience designing, documenting, and scaling reusable change management frameworks or playbooks across an organization.
  • Ability to tailor change management approaches by project type and complexity.
  • Experience creating multimedia content such as videos, infographics, or interactive guides to support change initiatives.
