Description

  • Lead the planning and execution of electrical maintenance, testing, installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, power distribution, and outage support projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for electrical field services to ensure work meets customer requirements, codes, and standards.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, resource plans, budgets, estimates, and execution strategies.
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, schedules, and key performance indicators to ensure successful delivery.
  • Support proposal development, estimating, bid preparation, and technical reviews for new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, maintenance records, and reporting.
  • Supervise electricians, field service personnel, subcontractors, and technical specialists during maintenance and outage activities.
  • Mentor and develop technical personnel through coaching, feedback, and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, nuclear quality requirements, plant procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with customers and internal teams to develop service solutions, support staffing, and expand market presence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent education and industry experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, testing, installation, commissioning, construction, or outage execution in power generation, RRE, energy services, or heavy industrial environments.
  • 3+ years of leadership or project management experience overseeing technical teams or field service operations.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including RRE infrastructure, power distribution systems, motors, generators, switchgear, transformers, protective relays, MCCs, and industrial controls.
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA standards, OSHA regulations, and electrical safety requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, one-line diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Experience managing complex maintenance or outage projects, including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and customer expectations.
  • Working knowledge of nuclear safety culture, quality assurance programs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50%, including extended outage assignments.
  • Preferred: experience supporting commercial nuclear power plants, RRE facilities, or utility power distribution systems.
  • Preferred: PE, Master Electrician, or Journeyman Electrician certification.
  • Preferred: experience with electrical testing, commissioning, predictive maintenance, and condition monitoring.
  • Preferred: familiarity with NETA, IEEE, NFPA 70E, NEC, EPRI, and related industry standards.
  • Preferred: PMP certification.
  • Preferred: experience leading multi-site outage execution teams and supporting business development initiatives.
