Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resident transactions related to current lease agreements.
  • Build and maintain positive resident relationships by responding promptly to concerns, questions, and requests.
  • Complete resident move-in, move-out, and eviction processes, including inspections, notifications, and paperwork.
  • Perform basic accounting and collections work and maintain the tenant ledger for each lease agreement.
  • Monitor resident compliance with community policies and enforce standards when needed.
  • Provide residents with timely information about community events, programs, and initiatives.
  • Proactively communicate lease renewal options and cross-community relocation opportunities to support retention goals.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, maintaining files, entering data, and compiling reports.
  • Project a positive image of the community by organizing materials, reporting defects, and spot cleaning as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in property management, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to retain customers through account or lease renewals, including cross-selling or upselling success.
  • Proven success ensuring customer compliance with account or lease terms; experience with collections, evictions, or fee assessments is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints using independent judgment to assess situations and present solutions.
  • Ability to professionally interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds while maintaining professionalism.
  • Experience working in a fast-changing environment with unexpected interruptions and unscheduled in-person or phone interactions.
  • Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are required.
  • Ability to work weekend and evening hours.
