Description

  • Own the technical architecture of the enterprise Customer Data Platform, including data models, event schemas, identity resolution rules, and unified customer profiles.
  • Design and build scalable data pipelines that connect internal databases, product telemetry, and third-party SaaS applications into the MarTech stack.
  • Use APIs, webhooks, and SDKs to ingest, route, and secure data across systems.
  • Establish data lineage, monitoring, and quality controls to trace issues end-to-end and maintain data integrity and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot complex data discrepancies across frontend capture, backend databases, and downstream marketing platforms.
  • Own technical data privacy operations, including integrating data sources with privacy and consent platforms.
  • Automate PII deletion and DSAR workflows across the data environment.
  • Serve as the technical bridge between Marketing, Business Systems, Data Engineering, and Legal/Privacy teams.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions for marketing and privacy use cases.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering and integration engineering, with a heavy focus on the Marketing Technology ecosystem.
  • Deep architectural and hands-on experience with enterprise Customer Data Platforms and Tag Management Systems.
  • Experience configuring event streams, audience builders, state management, and server-side tagging.
  • Strong backend integration skills with extensive experience building and consuming REST/RESTful APIs and webhooks.
  • Experience with batch and real-time data streaming architectures.
  • Proven ability to map and trace complex data lineage across highly distributed systems and analyze dependencies.
  • Solid understanding of global data privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js, Python, or SQL.
  • Experience working with data processing and web technologies.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and solve complex technical problems.
  • Experience in a hybrid or remote work environment (remote/hybrid listed).

  • Salary range of $143,000 to $178,500 USD.
