Description

  • Work with educators and team members to validate and iterate the models that drive analytics.
  • Develop an understanding of ConnectPrep’s algorithms, technologies, platforms, and proprietary educational content.
  • Translate model and content knowledge into actionable tests and modules that help identify individual students’ academic needs.
  • Perform data mining and cleaning from multiple sources, including web, internal trackers, and marketing platforms.
  • Support AI tools and workflows to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Assist with AI and chatbot development for ConnectPrep’s programs and website.
  • Conduct SEO and keyword research to identify growth opportunities and track performance.
  • Analyze website analytics such as traffic, engagement, and conversions, and prepare dashboards or summary reports.
  • Support data analysis for marketing campaigns, content performance, and business operations.
  • Help test, document, and iterate on new data and AI workflows as they are developed.

Requirements

  • Studying or having studied Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Some coding experience and a strong interest in technology and AI.
  • Experience with at least one of the following: SQL, Python data tools such as Pandas or NumPy, or building simple data pipelines or analysis scripts in Python.
  • Strong math and quantitative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable doing advanced analysis work in Excel, including formulas, tables, conditional formatting, charting, pivot tables, data tables, simulations, and Solver.
  • Bonus: experience with VBA and macros.
  • Curious about how data can improve learning and student outcomes.
  • Prior internship or project experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or marketing analytics is preferred.
  • Familiarity with web analytics and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, GA4, Search Console, or Looker Studio is preferred.
  • Experience working with SEO tools, keyword platforms, Tableau, Power BI, Data Studio, or remote/hybrid collaboration tools like Slack and Zoom is preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
