Description

  • Own the customer onboarding process from internal handoff through go-live and initial payroll stabilization.
  • Build implementation plans around first clock-in dates, payroll periods, training requirements, and payroll-processing deadlines.
  • Lead kickoff, setup, training, and payroll-related rollout activities for customers.
  • Manage timelines, responsibilities, next steps, risks, and customer communications throughout each implementation.
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand customer workflows and translate requirements into a practical Connecteam setup.
  • Configure Connecteam account settings and manage relevant system integrations.
  • Deliver client and manager training on the platform, integration process, time tracking, and payroll workflows.
  • Work closely with partner Implementation Managers and coordinate across Sales, Support, Product, Integrations, and leadership.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the full workflow, determine ownership, and route or escalate issues appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for account records, architecture decisions, risks, next steps, and handoffs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, or a customer-facing SaaS role serving SMB and mid-market clients.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple implementations and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn software, troubleshoot issues, and understand integrations and data flows.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with customers, internal teams, and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and changing customer needs.
  • Experience with payroll, HRIS, workforce management, scheduling, time and attendance, or employee management platforms (preferred).
  • Experience supporting payroll implementations, PEO environments, or multi-location/multi-entity organizations (preferred).
  • Experience working in a partner-led or channel-based customer environment (preferred).
