Description

  • Gather systems requirements from end users and key stakeholders for ServiceNow TSOM, CSM, TI, FSM, OSS, and/or BSS implementations.
  • Customize ServiceNow applications and support the rollout of new features and modules.
  • Configure application UI, workflows, and business logic.
  • Build integrations between ServiceNow and other applications using REST and SOAP web services.
  • Work with technical SMEs to collect environment details and support service maps and event work.
  • Reflect and validate impact assessment rules with SMEs and stakeholders.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing for maps, impact rules, and event management work.
  • Promote update sets and data across ServiceNow environments.
  • Remediate production incidents related to the assigned scope.
  • Maintain operational documentation and SOPs to reduce support risk and inefficiency.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience supporting implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of ServiceNow in 2 or more capabilities (TSOM, CSM, TI, FSM, OSS, and/or BSS).
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems/platforms using mid servers and cloud-to-cloud methods.
  • Experience with Web Services integration, including SOAP and REST, and bi-directional automated integrations.
  • Experience with data extraction technologies such as JDBC and ODBC, or ETL integrations.
  • Proven experience implementing ServiceNow Service Catalogs and workflows to meet business requirements.
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and Script Includes.
  • Ability to create technical design documents and user documentation.
  • A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
  • Willingness and ability to continue education on the ServiceNow platform and complete competency certifications and module accreditations.
  • Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow CSA, and ServiceNow CAD.
