Description

  • Own the customer onboarding process from internal handoff through go-live and initial payroll stabilization.
  • Build implementation plans around first clock-in dates, payroll periods, training requirements, and payroll deadlines.
  • Lead kickoff, setup, training, and payroll launch activities for each customer.
  • Understand customer workflows and translate business requirements into a practical Connecteam setup.
  • Configure relevant account settings and manage system integrations.
  • Train clients and managers on the Connecteam platform, time tracking, and payroll workflows.
  • Coordinate closely with partner Implementation Managers and internal teams across Sales, Support, Product, Integrations, and leadership.
  • Investigate workflow issues, identify ownership, and escalate payroll-impacting risks with documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of account decisions, risks, next steps, and handoff documentation.
  • Support customers through the first one to three payroll cycles when needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, or a customer-facing SaaS role with SMB and mid-market clients.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple implementations and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to quickly learn software, troubleshoot issues, and understand integrations and data flows.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with customers, internal teams, and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and comfort navigating ambiguity and changing customer needs.
  • Experience with payroll, HRIS, workforce management, scheduling, time & attendance, or employee management platforms (preferred).
  • Experience supporting payroll implementations, PEO environments, or multi-location/multi-entity organizations (preferred).
  • Experience in a partner-led or channel-based customer environment (preferred).
