Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for build, test, deployment, and release automation.
  • Drive improvements that increase deployment efficiency, reliability, and developer productivity.
  • Establish DevOps best practices across the software development lifecycle in partnership with engineering teams.
  • Design and support highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Design, deploy, and manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Establish deployment standards and operational best practices for Kubernetes-based environments.
  • Implement infrastructure and application security practices, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Improve observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response capabilities.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product teams, and operations on architecture, cloud adoption, and deployment strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience architecting, building, and supporting highly scalable software and infrastructure solutions.
  • Experience deploying and managing production workloads in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience implementing and supporting Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.
  • Demonstrated success designing solutions for high availability, scalability, and reliability.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architectures and cloud application design principles, including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, multi-tenancy, and distributed systems.
  • Deep knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Knowledge of cloud and application security best practices.
  • Experience with .NET Core/.NET Framework, Java, and JavaScript is preferred.
  • Cloud certifications in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Kubernetes are preferred.
  • Experience architecting or deploying enterprise solutions on Kubernetes platforms is preferred.
  • Experience designing highly available cloud architectures with fault tolerance and disaster recovery is preferred.
  • Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as OAuth, WS-Security, encryption in transit, and encryption at rest is preferred.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira and modern software delivery toolchains is preferred.
  • Background supporting large-scale SaaS products and cloud-native platforms is preferred.
