Description

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and cloud data technologies.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and create technical designs, data models, and implementation plans.
  • Develop and maintain Fabric Data Factory pipelines, dataflows, notebooks, and orchestration processes.
  • Build and support Medallion Lakehouse architectures using Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
  • Develop ELT/ETL solutions with SQL, Python, PySpark, and Fabric notebooks.
  • Create data models supporting reporting, self-service analytics, AI, and machine learning.
  • Support migrations from legacy platforms, on-premises databases, and third-party systems to Fabric and Azure.
  • Implement data quality, monitoring, security, and governance practices aligned with enterprise standards.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience designing and delivering modern data solutions on Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric workloads, including Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Notebooks, or Real-Time Analytics.
  • Experience building ELT/ETL pipelines using SQL, Python, PySpark, Data Factory, or similar cloud technologies.
  • Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures, transformation logic, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of Medallion Architecture, dimensional modeling, star schemas, Data Vault, and other analytical modeling techniques.
  • Experience developing semantic models, reports, and dashboards with Power BI.
  • Understanding of cloud data governance, quality, security, and performance practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with OneLake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, DevOps, Git, CI/CD, AI/ML workloads, or client-facing consulting preferred.
