Description

  • Deliver and promote actionable domain datasets and data models for data-as-a-product consumption.
  • Build, maintain, and improve scalable data pipelines and Lakehouse solutions using Medallion architecture.
  • Help teams without dedicated data engineers develop decentralized data solutions and product integrations.
  • Partner with product teams to integrate data into products and improve source-data quality.
  • Champion data mesh, decentralized data ownership, and data platform adoption across engineering teams.
  • Ensure sensitive data is managed according to privacy-by-design, security, and privacy standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, deliver, and validate data projects end to end.
  • Increase engineering data literacy through training and mentoring.
  • Develop specialized skills and agents to advance agentic systems for data engineering.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience building complex data pipelines and working with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including writing efficient, readable, and maintainable queries.
  • Experience building maintainable Python applications.
  • Familiarity with Medallion architecture and designing for data scale, storage, and performance.
  • Experience with cloud data technologies on AWS, GCP, or Azure, including tools such as Redshift, Spark, Trino, Iceberg, or Airflow.
  • Experience delivering data projects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Ability to translate business terms and KPIs into technical requirements and work effectively with analytics teams.
  • Experience defining and measuring data quality using tools such as Monte Carlo or Great Expectations.
  • Familiarity with Claude Code, Cursor, AI skills, or AI agents.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; must be based in Poland.
