Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated service tests.
  • Draft test scenarios and validate functional use cases, including asynchronous event-driven flows and GraphQL API contracts.
  • Collaborate with client service teams to triage bugs and investigate failures across environments.
  • Monitor and maintain test pipelines, using observability tools and logs to identify and resolve failures.
  • Communicate defects clearly and initiate discussions to support issue discovery and resolution.
  • Use AI tools to improve testing workflows and delivery velocity.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript, including experience with test runners such as Mocha.
  • Hands-on experience with UI test automation frameworks, particularly Playwright.
  • Hands-on experience testing event-driven or Pub/Sub systems such as MQTT, WebSockets, or SSE.
  • Experience testing message ordering, delivery guarantees, reconnection and retry logic, and asynchronous event assertions.
  • Deep experience testing GraphQL APIs, including nested queries, mutations, subscriptions, schema/resolver mocking, pagination, errors, and N+1 query issues.
  • Working knowledge of cloud environments, Docker images, and container registries.
  • Working knowledge of Git workflows and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
  • Experience analyzing and correlating logs across multiple services to debug failures.
  • Experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with Android test automation using Appium.
  • Availability to work remotely during CST hours.
