Description

  • Perform functional, exploratory, sanity, end-to-end, and device/OS compatibility testing across mobile and web applications.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated web and mobile test scripts and regression suites.
  • Validate REST API contracts, status codes, authentication, error handling, and edge cases.
  • Write test cases from requirements and maintain traceability between requirements, acceptance criteria, and results.
  • Use AI tools for test generation, automation development, log analysis, and failure triage; test AI-powered product features.
  • Identify, document, and track defects with reproduction steps and device logs.
  • Support release readiness through regression testing, results analysis, and risk reporting.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Product to clarify requirements and address risks early.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on software testing experience across manual testing and automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to write structured test cases, execute end-to-end suites, and document precise reproduction details.
  • Experience with Playwright and JavaScript for web automation and Appium with Java or Python for mobile automation.
  • Experience testing REST APIs with tools such as Postman.
  • Practical experience using AI tools for test generation, scripting, log analysis, or debugging, with appropriate verification of outputs.
  • Experience installing mobile builds, collecting device logs, and managing iOS and Android emulators or simulators.
  • Working knowledge of version control and CI/CD test execution.
  • Clear written communication for defect reports and test documentation.
  • Preferred: regulated software or SaMD experience, traceability documentation, BrowserStack, performance/accessibility/security testing, or test tooling development.
  • Authorized to work full-time in the United States, or eligible for supported sponsorship.
