Description

  • Own the roadmap and optimization of financial systems, including cross-system integration and reporting improvements.
  • Direct coordination across finance, procurement, contracts, and HCM modules to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Support the selection, implementation, and execution of a more unified ERP or system architecture.
  • Manage enhancements, fixes, process improvements, and system project intake and prioritization.
  • Allocate resources and provide strategic leadership for financial systems initiatives.
  • Partner with leaders to identify opportunities to better leverage existing systems and technologies.
  • Evaluate new technologies and develop innovative solutions to improve quality, timeliness, efficiency, and cost.
  • Develop and execute long-term strategies for unified systems aligned with organizational goals.
  • Help ensure systems evolve in line with the company’s strategic vision.
  • Provide management-level reporting and support cross-functional decision-making.

Requirements

  • Must live in the United States.
  • Willingness to travel twice annually for the Common App Retreat.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 8-10 years of project or program management experience, including full-cycle ERP or similar implementations from selection or requirements through go-live.
  • Experience managing phased delivery projects covering requirements, configuration, testing, and cutover.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Google Suite, Smartsheet, or equivalent, and collaboration tools such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Slack.
  • Ability to work independently and drive accountability in a fully remote environment.
  • Comprehensive ERP implementation knowledge, including requirement review, solution/design review, training, cutover, and go-live activities.
  • Experience coordinating implementations with HCM systems such as ADP, Workday, or Paylocity alongside core financials.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, adaptability, financial acumen, and business acumen.
  • Knowledge of finance, procurement, and HCM modules in a nonprofit environment, including grant management, remote workforce administration, and AP automation.
  • Strong strategic execution, planning, relationship management, cross-functional leadership, change management, and communication skills.
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
  • Experience with grant and/or government contracting financial modeling and reporting is preferred.
  • Experience managing ERP implementations in nonprofit, association, or mission-driven organizations is preferred.
  • Background in healthcare EMR deployments or similarly complex, multi-stakeholder technology programs is considered strong preparation.
  • Prior experience as an internal ERP program owner with post-go-live systems governance experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical/modeling skills and experience with budgeting and strategic planning for complex financial reporting organizations is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of how Finance (FICO), HCM, Procurement, and CRM modules interact is preferred.
  • Familiarity with APIs, middleware such as MuleSoft, and EDI is preferred.
  • Ability to influence at all levels and present effectively in one-on-one, small-group, and large-group settings is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-quality skills with a focus on innovation and creative solutions is preferred.
