Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR inquiries, employment verifications, policies, benefits, programs, and procedures.
  • Coordinate and monitor leave administration through HRIS platforms, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
  • Support new hire onboarding and orientation by preparing documentation, resources, and policy/program introductions.
  • Administer employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, terminations, status changes, transfers, leaves of absence, and position changes.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential HRIS data and employee records to support HR operations and reporting.
  • Help develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Support compliance with applicable employment legislation and regulatory requirements across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Contribute to strategic HR projects, programs, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Support U.S. and Canadian federal, state, and provincial reporting requirements.
  • Administer U.S. employment eligibility verification, including I-9 review and E-Verify processing.

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, ideally in a generalist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, best practices, employment standards, and regulatory requirements in Canada and the United States.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.
  • Dayforce experience is a strong asset.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, including CPT/OPT.
