Description

  • Lead and develop a Total Rewards team, providing direction and hands-on support.
  • Own the compensation philosophy and program architecture, including job architecture, pay grades, and salary ranges.
  • Partner with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and leaders on compensation decisions for hires, promotions, transfers, and merit cycles.
  • Design and administer incentive plans, including annual bonus and commission programs.
  • Partner with Finance, Sales Operations, and Payroll on plan documents and payout execution.
  • Lead benefits strategy and administration across health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), and wellness programs.
  • Manage vendor relationships, broker negotiations, and annual open enrollment.
  • Oversee leave of absence programs and ensure compliance with state-specific laws.
  • Monitor pay transparency laws, FLSA, ACA, and other compliance requirements, including policy development and audits.
  • Use data and market insights to measure program effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in compensation, benefits, or HR operations.
  • 5+ years of experience leading a Total Rewards team in a fast-moving organization, preferably private-equity backed.
  • Substantial knowledge of benefits and compensation practices.
  • Hands-on leadership style with both strategic and tactical execution capability.
  • Experience creating and managing compensation plans.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets, Slides, and Docs.
  • Preferred experience with ERP or HRIS implementations.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations including FMLA, ADA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and ERISA.
  • Experience using HR metrics, data, analytics, and AI/automation to improve programs.
