Description

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of Cologix’s sales presence within the hyperscale and global strategic account community.
  • Prospect, identify, penetrate, and close target hyperscale accounts to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Carry and retire an individual sales quota on a monthly basis through closing new business.
  • Build and maintain account plans, marketing plans, and customer contact plans for hyperscale accounts.
  • Manage revenue forecasting, opportunity tracking, and pipeline discipline for existing and prospective hyperscale customers.
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, market pricing, and sales strategy.
  • Leverage indirect channel partners, referrals, carrier relationships, and other partnerships to drive sales.
  • Participate in trade shows and hyperscale-focused networking events to build relationships and find new business.
  • Develop relationships with management-level stakeholders within hyperscale accounts.
  • Document progress on contracts, revenue opportunities, and customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven success in solution-based selling, preferably in hyperscale built-to-suit data center, powered shell, or pre-lease data center space.
  • Prior hyperscale account management experience in the data center vertical.
  • Strong understanding of high-density data center solutions, data center infrastructure, high-density compute environments, networking, and cloud/hyperscaler connectivity.
  • Proven track record of building business strategy, partner enablement, and measurable metrics for hyperscale and global customers.
  • Successful business development and sales experience with hyperscale providers.
  • Disciplined use of a CRM for forecasting and sales activity tracking.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must be articulate, organized, competitive, and able to manage high-level activity.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in Canada; sponsorship or transfer of work permit/visa is not available.
  • Consultative selling capability and strong critical listening and questioning skills are required.
  • Self-starter who can work effectively without constant supervision.
