Description

  • Execute a local marketing and sales strategy across an assigned territory to support revenue growth.
  • Engage external clients, prospects, and organizations with up-to-date information on CPA, CMA, CPE, EA, CIA, and accounting industry topics.
  • Create and execute account-specific strategies for assigned and prospective accounts.
  • Prospect for new business and develop relationships with current and potential customers.
  • Report progress, activity, and market insights to leadership and internal teams.
  • Monitor competitor activity and share relevant updates with regional and national teams.
  • Drive enrollments and revenue on university campuses through faculty and administrator relationships, events, and Campus Ambassador programs.
  • Hire, train, communicate with, and support Campus Ambassadors at assigned universities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with university administrators, faculty, student leaders, and student prospects.
  • Assist with contractual negotiations and contract renewals as needed.
  • Drive revenue growth with firms, corporations, and government agencies through relationship management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing, sales, or direct customer service preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Confident public speaking ability, including presenting to audiences of 200-300 people.
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role and meeting new people regularly.
  • Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills, with expert use of PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to learn new programs is a plus.
  • Must reside in Upstate New York.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs.
  • Must be able to cover travel expenses upfront, with weekly reimbursement from Becker.
