Description

  • Interpret complex customer problems and requirements and build solutions that add value for customers and the product.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and QA specialists to design and plan new product features and changes.
  • Evaluate and shape roadmap items with Product Managers before build cycles.
  • Improve the tools and processes used to develop, test, and ship user-facing features.
  • Participate in code reviews and help deliver high-quality software.
  • Champion the user experience with a focus on clarity and speed.
  • Contribute to company and product vision, ideation, and planning.
  • Mentor, support, and advise junior developers on the team.

Requirements

  • Professional software development experience on production-level SaaS products.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching peers and coworkers.
  • Proficiency with Java, PHP, Python, and/or C/C++.
  • Exposure to TypeScript, Python, HTML, and CSS is an asset.
  • Experience with front-end build, package management, and testing tools such as Webpack, NPM, Jest, and Playwright is an asset.
  • Experience with version control, release management, and CI/CD workflows is an asset.
  • Experience programming against APIs and working across multiple systems and workflows.
  • Competence in UI/UX design and strong attention to detail is an asset.
  • Consistent track record of building and maintaining highly scalable products is an asset.
  • Passion for team-based work with respect and continuous improvement.
