Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of user-facing features and backend services.
  • Build accessible, performant user interfaces with TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML, and CSS.
  • Implement robust REST APIs in Python using FastAPI or Flask.
  • Design data schemas and write efficient SQL.
  • Define clear API contracts and patterns to ensure consistency across services and UIs.
  • Own software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Improve build and release pipelines and support deployments on AWS.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to improve reliability and performance.
  • Mentor teammates and contribute to planning, estimation, and technical decisions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience building fullstack web applications, including leading features or projects.
  • Strong expertise with React, React Router or Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Solid backend experience with Python, FastAPI or Flask, REST API design, and SQL/schema design.
  • Hands-on experience with Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
  • Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions and familiarity with AWS.
  • Understanding of web security and authentication, including OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.
  • Secure coding practices and a focus on performance and reliability.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across product, design, and engineering.
  • Healthcare or HIPAA experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch.
