Description

  • Power highly performant and highly available systems for traders worldwide.
  • Architect robust backend systems that support multiple instrument types, including Spot, Futures, and Perpetual Futures.
  • Collaborate closely with product and design to shape a best-in-class trading experience.
  • Provide technical guidance and career mentorship to engineers on the team.
  • Lead complex projects and uphold high standards for code quality and system design.
  • Translate ideas into high-value product features for customers.
  • Build and maintain production services as the systems evolve over time.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services.
  • High product standards with a customer-obsessed approach and strong observability practices.
  • Ability to empower and develop teammates.
  • Commitment to staying current with industry standards and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots in daily workflows, with human-in-the-loop practices.
  • Experience with active trading systems or similar high-availability financial systems is preferred.
  • Active crypto trading or trading of other financial instruments is preferred.
  • Experience at a company that grew rapidly from startup to mid-size is preferred.
  • Experience upgrading legacy systems or re-architecting next-generation versions of existing systems is preferred.
  • Experience with Golang, MongoDB, Redis, or Snowflake is preferred.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of $218,025 to $256,500 USD, excluding equity and bonus.
