Description

  • Lead a team of QE engineers, including planning, task allocation, and day-to-day delivery.
  • Drive automation coverage across web, mobile, and API layers, with emphasis on mobile testing.
  • Translate automation architecture into executable plans aligned with delivery goals.
  • Review automation code, frameworks, and test design to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Track automation coverage, stability, and progress, and report status to stakeholders.
  • Identify and remove technical and organizational blockers to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Collaborate with distributed development teams to embed quality practices into engineering workflows.
  • Guide the team in using AI/GenAI tools to accelerate test design, data generation, and automation development.
  • Support testing of AI/LLM-based features by validating output accuracy, relevance, and behavior.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, including leading or managing teams.
  • Strong hands-on experience in test automation across web, mobile, and API layers.
  • Experience testing freight, transportation, or logistics applications such as shipping, tracking, dispatch, or supply chain systems.
  • Solid experience in mobile test automation and improving coverage and stability.
  • Strong API testing knowledge, including functional and integration testing.
  • Experience working in distributed global teams across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to balance technical leadership with hands-on development and code reviews.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience using AI-assisted testing tools to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Experience with device cloud/grid platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or Test Grid (preferred).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests (preferred).
  • Experience scaling automation practices within evolving or growing teams (preferred).
  • Location: Remote in Latam, specifically Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, or Mexico.
