Description

  • Design and implement scalable automation frameworks and validation platforms in Python.
  • Build reusable automation libraries and developer-facing testing tooling.
  • Architect validation strategies across web applications, APIs, microservices, cloud systems, mobile platforms, and data pipelines.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid feedback and high-confidence releases.
  • Design automated testing strategies for iOS and Android applications, including cross-device validation.
  • Partner with infrastructure, DevOps, product, engineering, data engineering, and ML Ops teams to embed quality into system design and delivery.
  • Lead cloud-native validation efforts including contract testing, integration testing, environment simulation, and reliability testing.
  • Establish data quality frameworks for data integrity, schema evolution, lineage, reproducibility, and ML model validation.
  • Serve as a working lead and manager for a team of SDETs, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management.
  • Define quality metrics, dashboards, and observability strategies to track system health, release readiness, and root-cause analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering or SDET roles with complex distributed systems.
  • At least 3 years of technical leadership experience.
  • Strong Python development skills for building automation, tooling, or validation systems.
  • Experience designing automation frameworks or validation platforms across UI, API, service, integration, and data layers.
  • Experience validating web applications, APIs, and distributed microservices architectures.
  • Experience integrating automated validation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with functional, integration, and system testing methodologies.
  • Experience with browser automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor engineers and influence engineering practices.
  • Experience using AI/ML-assisted testing techniques to improve coverage, diagnostics, and defect detection.
  • Preferred: experience validating data platforms, SQL-based systems, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT workflows.
  • Preferred: experience with contract testing or service-level validation strategies.
  • Preferred: experience building quality dashboards, metrics, or reporting systems.
  • Preferred: experience testing mobile applications and using cross-device testing platforms.
  • Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science, CE, or EE.
  • Preferred: experience validating machine learning systems or ML-enabled applications.
  • Preferred: experience with simulation-based testing environments such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
  • Preferred: experience in mobile robotics or industrial automation.
