Description

  • Develop scalable, responsive, and accessible front-end solutions using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Build modular, reusable components and design systems for personalized email templates.
  • Use Apache Velocity JS, macros, and dynamic logic to create conditional email experiences.
  • Integrate internal and external APIs to consume and transform dynamic data.
  • Develop and maintain HTML/CSS email templates compatible with major email clients.
  • Translate designs from Figma into modular front-end code.
  • Collaborate on responsive and accessible development for email clients.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related software engineering experience with a strong front-end focus, or equivalent experience with a Master's degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Strong command of Apache Velocity JS (VLT), including #set, #if, #foreach, and #define macros.
  • Experience building scalable design systems and reusable components.
  • Strong experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, command-line tools, and modern IDEs.
  • Proven experience integrating and consuming APIs for dynamic content.
  • Advanced HTML/CSS skills, including responsive and accessible development for email clients.
  • Experience with Figma and translating designs into modular code.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud services (preferred).
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices (preferred).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitLab CI (preferred).
  • Experience with internationalization and localization frameworks (preferred).
  • Practical experience using AI development tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, or Claude Code (preferred).
  • Experience developing personalized content at scale across multiple locales (preferred).
  • Location in Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia, or Bolivia.
  • Remote work mode.
