Description

  • Build custom Shopify storefronts from scratch using client branding and design assets.
  • Customize Shopify themes to create premium, conversion-focused online stores.
  • Configure product catalogs, collections, inventory, and store settings.
  • Lead the complete redesign and rebrand of the company’s primary Shopify website.
  • Improve user experience, site navigation, and conversion performance.
  • Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Implement custom store functionality, access controls, gated collections, gift codes, and purchase restrictions.
  • Integrate third-party Shopify applications to extend store functionality.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate Figma designs into functional Shopify stores.
  • Manage multiple Shopify builds simultaneously and communicate progress through Slack.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid templating language.
  • Advanced front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience building custom Shopify themes or performing extensive theme customization.
  • Proven experience leading complete website redesigns or rebranding projects.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce UX, CRO, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience managing product catalogs, collections, inventory, and store configurations.
  • Portfolio showcasing modern, high-quality Shopify storefronts.
  • Experience working with Slack, Google Workspace, and asynchronous communication.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience with Shopify Plus, including Checkout Extensibility and Scripts (preferred).
  • Experience using Shopify apps such as Locksmith, Bold Custom Pricing, gifting, loyalty, or fulfillment solutions (preferred).
  • Ability to translate Figma designs into fully functional Shopify websites (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of branding, visual hierarchy, and modern UI/UX design (preferred).
  • Experience building B2B eCommerce, corporate gifting, or branded merchandise stores (preferred).
