Description

  • Lead threat modeling and design reviews for new banking features such as payments, transfers, and KYC.
  • Identify logic flaws in features before code is written.
  • Architect and maintain SAST, DAST, and SCA tooling within the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Integrate security tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, and GitLab CI to automatically block vulnerabilities.
  • Perform manual code audits on high-risk components such as authentication and ledger logic.
  • Deliver security design patterns for APIs, containers, cloud workloads, and AI systems.
  • Provide secure templates and paved-road patterns for deploying microservices and AI models.
  • Mentor developers through secure coding workshops and security-focused coaching.
  • Champion and support a Security Champion program across the development team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Application Security with a background in Software Development.
  • Proficiency in at least one core language: Java with Spring Boot, Node.js, or Go.
  • Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25.
  • Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience performing code reviews or code audits on application components.
  • Bonus: Experience in fintech or banking.
  • Experience with Java, Kotlin, or Swift for reviewing high-risk components.
  • Familiarity with SAST, DAST, and SCA tooling.
