Description

  • Lead the development of robust Java backend architectures with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
  • Design and evolve RESTful API integrations to automate and streamline enterprise workflows.
  • Manage SQL environments, including schema design, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Own the technical health and architectural evolution of mission-critical backend systems.
  • Provide deep code reviews and technical mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders and support collaboration with US-based clients.
  • Proactively identify and reduce technical debt across the delivery lifecycle.
  • Reverse-engineer complex logic and implement modern methodologies to improve efficiency.
  • Document systems and workflows to bring clarity across diverse codebases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of dedicated backend development experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate.
  • Strong experience with SQL database management, complex stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD, Git, and cloud-native environments such as Azure or AWS.
  • Proven experience with microservices or distributed 3-tier architectures.
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal, for collaboration with US-based clients.
  • Mandatory experience in nearshore or offshore client-facing startup cultures.
