Description

  • Lead the overall UX/UI strategy and execution for applications, customer portals, and employee portals.
  • Design and build scalable web interfaces and design systems across React, Blazor, and Bootstrap.
  • Define CSS and styling standards and help select component libraries.
  • Own user research and discovery by analyzing audiences, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Architect sitemaps, user task flows, and navigational structures.
  • Use AI-augmented workflows and prototyping tools to produce high-fidelity mockups and rapid prototypes.
  • Champion accessibility and inclusivity across all platforms, including Section 508 compliance.
  • Collaborate directly with product and engineering teams to resolve complex UI issues.
  • Ensure design decisions translate cleanly into production-ready front-end code.
  • Optimize design work for performance, browser compatibility, and internationalization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience, ideally in complex, data-heavy, or enterprise applications.
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • A strong portfolio or GitHub repository demonstrating intuitive interfaces and sophisticated interaction design.
  • Deep hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks such as React, Blazor, and Bootstrap.
  • Proven comfort using AI-based design tools such as Figma AI and Claude Design, or similar tools.
  • Strong judgment, decision-making ability, and a proactive approach to ambiguous design and front-end challenges.
  • A degree or equivalent practical experience in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or Visual Communications.
  • Experience designing for Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or highly regulated compliance platforms is preferred.
  • Advanced front-end development knowledge, including browser rendering optimization and React state management, is preferred.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence is preferred.
  • Experience with automated usability testing and continuous user feedback loops at scale is preferred.
