Description

  • Support and deliver assigned cloud design/build and managed operations work activities.
  • Lead complex technical projects through the full lifecycle, including schedules, scope, dependencies, communications, risks, issues, budget, staffing, and margins.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and engagement teams throughout the engagement.
  • Develop and refine project management procedures, reporting, and delivery optimization efforts with leadership.
  • Use technology, automation, and workflow tools to improve efficiency, visibility, and operational performance.
  • Create or update training materials, project artifacts, and best practices to strengthen delivery consistency.
  • Work with delivery leadership to meet utilization, forecasting, and performance targets.
  • Escalate client, project, and technical risks in a timely manner and drive mitigation planning.
  • Collaborate with sales, architects, engineers, operations, quality management, and leadership to improve customer experience.
  • Advise clients on security principles, compliance frameworks, and industry trends as they relate to technical delivery.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of technical project or program management experience.
  • 5+ years of external client-facing experience.
  • Experience leading cross-functional technical projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Strong risk management, issue escalation, stakeholder communication, and executive-ready reporting skills.
  • Consulting or professional services experience, including cloud or technical project management.
  • Ability to independently manage complex delivery schedules, dependencies, and multi-workstream coordination.
  • Knowledge of project management best practices in a professional services, consulting, or technology delivery environment.
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, CMMC, SOC, ISO, HIPAA, HITRUST, and PCI.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP platform capabilities and services.
  • Understanding of SecOps, SOC/NOC, vulnerability management, incident response, disaster recovery, continuous monitoring, and change management processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with hybrid, Agile, or iterative delivery methodologies.
  • Experience using automation, workflow tools, or AI-enabled approaches for process improvement.
  • Ability to mentor and coach team members on technical and consulting skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • US citizenship required due to client contractual requirements.
  • Preferred certifications include PMP, CAPM, CSM, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSK, AWS Solutions Architect–Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud-Professional Cloud Architect, GIAC Public Cloud Security, CompTIA Sec+, or CompTIA Cloud+.
  • Preferred experience with cloud networking tools and concepts such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASAv, VPC peering, and Transit Gateway.
  • Preferred experience with Visio, Jira, Smartsheet, Tableau, or MS Project.
  • Preferred understanding of encryption technologies such as TLS/SSL, encryption, and PKI.
  • Preferred experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Preferred understanding of AI tools and platforms.
