Description

  • Serve as the primary project management contact for clients, sponsors, and internal delivery teams.
  • Lead engagement initiation, discovery, planning, execution, transition, and closeout across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Develop and maintain integrated plans covering milestones, workstreams, dependencies, resources, deliverables, and critical paths.
  • Manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, quality, and change control.
  • Design and operate governance models, including steering committees, stage gates, RAID logs, escalation paths, and executive reporting.
  • Monitor project financials, forecasts, utilization, resource plans, scope alignment, and commercial impacts.
  • Coordinate cross-functional, matrixed teams; clarify accountability, resolve conflicts, remove blockers, and support delivery quality.
  • Provide concise status reports, governance packs, dashboards, financial summaries, and decision materials to stakeholders and executives.
  • Drive client approvals, maintain project documentation, and ensure contractual, security, policy, and quality requirements are met.
  • Apply lessons learned and delivery metrics to improve project execution, standards, templates, and client experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive project management experience, including substantial client-facing delivery experience in consulting, professional services, technology, cybersecurity, compliance, advisory, or related environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex engagements with multiple workstreams, stakeholders, deliverables, dependencies, and competing priorities.
  • Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, dependencies, quality, and change control.
  • Experience with project governance, steering committees, decision rights, escalation paths, stage gates, RAID management, and executive reporting.
  • Experience leading cross-functional, matrixed teams and partnering with client executives, sponsors, business stakeholders, and delivery leaders.
  • Experience managing project financials, forecasts, utilization, resource plans, scope alignment, and commercial impacts.
  • Working knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid project management approaches.
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Jira, OpenAir, Microsoft Project, or similar project and portfolio management tools.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or associate degree plus equivalent experience; PMP, PgMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or related certification preferred.
  • Cybersecurity, compliance, cloud, technology advisory, or related consulting experience and familiarity with FedRAMP, DoD, CMMC, ISO, SOC, or HITRUST preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with U.S.-based delivery teams, coach team members, influence stakeholders, and travel up to 20% as needed.
