Description

  • Lead red team, adversary emulation, and purple team engagements across a range of client industries and environments.
  • Recommend remediation measures and deliver reporting aligned to MITRE ATT&CK and other relevant frameworks.
  • Simulate threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures, including detection and response evasion.
  • Develop sophisticated offensive tradecraft to gain access, establish persistence, escalate privileges, move laterally, and evade controls.
  • Develop and maintain custom exploit code, scripts, tools, and command-and-control infrastructure.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing security insights and recommendations that inform client decision-making.
  • Stay current on emerging threats and proactively identify opportunities to improve offensive security capabilities.
  • Contribute to internal tradecraft, reusable tooling, testing methodologies, and team knowledge sharing.
  • Support thought leadership through research, training, blog content, conference presentations, or customer workshops.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in penetration testing, adversary services/red teaming, and purple teaming.
  • At least 2+ years of experience leading covert red team engagements.
  • Significant experience delivering specialized testing for advanced persistent threats, ransomware, and insider threats.
  • Deep technical expertise in command-and-control infrastructure, including tools such as Cobalt Strike, Sliver, or Mythic.
  • Extensive experience conducting adversary services engagements in on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Experience across the full attack chain, including OSINT, social engineering, custom payload creation, lateral movement, privilege escalation, and impact objectives.
  • Technical knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Go.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Relevant certifications such as CRTO, CRTO II, AT:RTO, or OSEP are a plus.
