Description

Build full-stack systems that simplify healthcare workflows and support clinical and operational outcomes.
Make informed technical and product decisions and own work from problem understanding through delivery and measurement.
Collaborate with operators, clinicians, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and develop new features.
Engage directly with users and stakeholders to understand needs and shape solutions.
Define and maintain development practices that support fast iteration and high quality.
Write tests and document key implementations.
Adopt and evangelize AI in both internal workflows and product solutions.
Stay current with new tools and technologies to solve product and engineering challenges.
Build and refactor complex, often distributed systems.
Work across multiple technical systems and concerns with attention to scalability.

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience.
Proficiency in one or more common programming languages.
Experience with databases and web frontend technologies.
Experience building and refactoring complex, often distributed systems.
Ability to build systems with AI agents and a strong interest in AI’s impact on technology.
Comfort working across different technical systems and concerns.
Maturity, rigor, and attention to scalability in system design and maintenance.
Focus on business and user outcomes, with the ability to connect technical work to impact.
Experience with the applicant’s education, work experience, or certifications may influence final pay.
Nice to have or preferred candidates may be assessed across multiple teams at Clover and Counterpart Health.
