Description

  • Design, implement, and validate high-reliability distributed platforms for machine learning, natural language processing, and LLMs.
  • Create, debug, interpret, and improve production machine learning and natural language processing models.
  • Build tools and validation processes that help translate insights into action at scale.
  • Use commercial and open source tools to build a robust production platform.
  • Work closely with Data Science and Engineering teams to ensure the ML/NLP/LLM platform delivers real value.
  • Document tools and workflows, iterate on them, and create tutorials that help data scientists use them effectively.
  • Help fix broken systems and contribute to sustainable system design where needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering roles at technology-enabled companies.
  • Experience with Python and Python data science libraries such as numpy, pandas, sklearn, tensorflow, and pytorch.
  • Experience deploying Python applications into production environments.
  • Experience with natural language processing and/or LLMs.
  • Solid foundation in feature engineering, feature selection, and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience interpreting, modifying, and debugging the inputs and outputs of production ML/NLP/LLM models.
  • Experience building and refactoring complex distributed systems, especially ML/NLP/LLM systems.
  • Experience scaling the impact of other engineers and data scientists through mentorship, reusable libraries, and documentation.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
