Description

  • Own the Data Products technical roadmap, canonical data modeling, and ingestion scalability.
  • Manage and optimize the clinical data ingestion pipeline.
  • Scale customer data onboarding and improve data hygiene, canonical storage standards, observability, and monitoring.
  • Enable shared funnel visibility and support a robust enterprise reporting framework.
  • Drive adoption of an AI-powered SDLC to accelerate coding, testing, and deployment while maintaining code quality and security.
  • Partner with the VP of Engineering and cross-functional leaders in Product, Data Science, and Design.
  • Build scalable, reusable data capabilities that support clinical insight generation.
  • Lead and develop engineering managers, Tech Leads, and Principal Engineers.
  • Lead organizational change, including re-orgs and process evolution.
  • Allocate resources, plan capacity, and manage technical debt in a fast-paced product environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of engineering experience with a focus on high-scale data platforms, distributed systems, and interoperability standards such as FHIR or CCDA.
  • Experience managing and scaling engineering teams that handle data-heavy workloads and complex clinical data pipelines.
  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams to deliver complex software in regulated environments.
  • Experience implementing AI-assisted development workflows such as AI code assistants, automated testing, or AI-driven SDLC.
  • Experience building and managing systems in highly regulated healthcare environments with working knowledge of HIPAA and SOC 2.
  • Strong understanding of clinical data complexity, lack of standardization, and data integrity challenges.
  • Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing engineering managers, Tech Leads, and Principal Engineers.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical constraints into business strategy.
  • Ability to operate in dynamic, high-growth environments and navigate ambiguity.
  • Preferred familiarity with standards like FHIR, LOINC, and RxNorm.
