Description

  • Track grantee activities, assess portfolio progress, and support the regular implementation of GETI country strategies.
  • Deliver weekly updates to the global GETI team by synthesizing key developments across Latin America.
  • Coordinate activities across partners and internal teams, and organize internal coordination meetings.
  • Support administrative and operational processes in Salesforce and related systems for program management and reporting.
  • Plan and execute convenings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements in virtual and in-person formats.
  • Develop internal and external communications, including strategic summaries, presentations, briefings, and knowledge products.
  • Strengthen partnerships with funders, grantees, and stakeholders across Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia.
  • Identify and engage new civil society, government, and private sector actors aligned with the energy transition agenda.
  • Support portfolio management by monitoring workplans, milestones, deliverables, risks, and course corrections.
  • Map key actors and organizations, conduct due diligence on prospective grantees, and support new grant design and recommendations.
  • Produce briefing notes and regional intelligence on political, economic, policy, and sectoral developments.
  • Track success stories, KPIs, and impact indicators, and document lessons learned for internal learning products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in energy, environment, public policy, international development, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in climate, energy, philanthropy, policy, or a related area.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Experience working with or within civil society, government, or philanthropic organizations in Latin America.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work efficiently both virtually and in person with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in a global matrixed team.
  • Ability to communicate success stories and the impact of the work.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of ClimateWorks Foundation.
  • Must be based in Brazil, Colombia, or Mexico, preferably Brazil.
  • Frequent travel is expected.
