Description

  • Work with strategic and enterprise customers and prospects on onboarding, production launches, and proof-of-concept projects.
  • Provide architectural, technical, and migration guidance and assistance.
  • Lead projects, escalations, and customer meetings to drive success.
  • Own and oversee L3 support cases and escalations in coordination with the L1/L2 support team.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales to inform roadmaps and account plans.
  • Deliver high-quality global 24x7 support in a distributed environment, including scheduled onsite travel.
  • Assist with hiring and mentoring new team members.
  • Develop documentation, knowledge base articles, learning materials, reference architectures, and QA support.
  • Provide consultative support, escalation insights, and oversight to customers and prospects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, Professional Services, Senior Support, and/or Project Management roles.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing, operating, and/or supporting scalable, fault-tolerant distributed database management systems.
  • Technical depth in DBMS, OLAP, cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems software engineering, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, system or network administration, and big data.
  • Experience leading and shipping large-scope technical projects with multiple experienced engineers.
  • Expertise with a public cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including infrastructure-as-a-service offerings such as EC2.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with Support Services, Engineering, and Sales teams.
  • Team-oriented mindset with empathy, global engagement, and problem-solving ability.
  • Self-driven curiosity and eagerness to continuously learn and grow.
  • Remote location in Singapore with openness to regional travel, estimated up to 35% of the time.
