Description

  • Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities within the specialty contractor market.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract signature and post-sale handoff.
  • Build relationships with construction professionals and stakeholders through phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions.
  • Develop and execute data-driven prospecting plans to build and expand territory pipeline.
  • Research target accounts, identify decision-makers, and uncover business requirements and pain points.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations that show the value of Clearstory’s platform.
  • Negotiate contracts and work with prospects through business development and product specification stages.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales activity and revenue targets.
  • Develop deep expertise in Clearstory’s platform, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
  • Maintain a consultative, customer-focused approach while solving prospect challenges with software solutions.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in the commercial construction industry as a Project Manager for a Specialty Contractor.
  • Experience managing costs and change orders at a mid-sized specialty contractor.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in software sales, preferably B2B.
  • Proven ability to sell to decision-makers at multiple levels within an account.
  • Track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience with consultative or solution-based selling methodologies.
  • Strong ability to develop, manage, and accurately forecast sales pipelines.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be located in the Western Region.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred.
